These online portals cover only Circuit and General District Courts in Virginia. While there exists a Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court (JDR) Case Information Portal, it is only used to process the payment of fines, fees, or other costs in JDR court cases. By Virginia law, JDR court records are not published online

To review or obtain physical copies of a court record, individuals may visit the appropriate Clerk of Court's Office (e.g., the District Court Clerk or the Circuit Court Clerk's Office) at the Campbell County courthouse. They may also need to show their ID if they are searching for a record in which they are named a party, but the record is not open to the public. Copy fees may apply if a visitor asks for copies of the record to be made.

To access the case file, individuals may search for the record on the Virginia Judiciary Online Case Information System or visit the Clerk of Court's Office where the case is filed.

Campbell County Probate Records

Under Virginia Code § 17.1-208, all records, including probate records kept by the clerk of any circuit court, are open to inspection by any person.
